I like New Order a lot. There's clever satire that New Order has used at times, which is funny to see the points they've made in satirical humor, that sometimes might be lost on many people. They're a great band, that I can easily take more serious than a lot of bands. For example compare them to a lot of pop bands that were around days of New Order's peak days of success & it was easy to see New Order made a lot of pop bands look & sound like bubblegum crap. Not to mention a lot of people forget that they came out of the band Joy Division.
Bonus Answer--There is so many songs that New Order has done over the years it makes it hard to decide on a single favorite. Here's some favorites of theirs' that I like a lot--

Edit--I like a lot more songs of theirs than just these, for my favorite song of New Order's at the moment is "Here to stay" from the "24 Hour Party People" movie cause it reminds me of Ian Curtis of Joy Division who hung himself, it's in the 4th link above I think. Which a lot of people know already, but for those who don't New Order came from the band Joy Division.
