and from what I hear, VIP passes only work for the smaller stages, so if your favorite band is playing the main stage you won't get to go backstage
totally worth it though.

I've had VIP twice and if you want a real face to face concert experience, it isn't for you. The pass only allows you backstage access to the smaller stages and NOT the main stages. I found it worth it because I didn't want to get sweaty in the crowd. Its a little hard to hear and sing along to the song though because it's a little more quiet and CHILL backstage.
It's also not very necessary for Warped Tour because it's part of the experience to jump in the crowd and sing along face to face with the band members.

You get to go back stage for the smaller bands, you get to cut the line and go in before the people without passes, you can go back to the area where the tour buses are, and the thing that I think is coolest is you get to go to the backstage BBQ after the show. Every night the bands get a free BBQ, and so you'll get to go eat BBQ with the bands :) I'd say it's worth it.
