Hello, I am currently using Fl Studio 9 and I love its interface and simplicity and all of it's built-in effects. However, I need a different audio program because FL Studio is limited in the types of time signatures it is built to record in. I have a song in 15/16 (it sounds retarded but with the beat it has it makes sense) and I need a program with the capacity so switch to that time signature. I had cubase a while back and it was able to do it easily, but it kept crashing on me. Any other ideas? I'd prefer a program where I don't need a physical dongle attachment to run so I can DL it and test it out.

i was just watching a tutorial on fl studio. i noticed that they suggested to record vocals and stuff in program like adobe audition. but if you want something free they suggested audacity. here's the tutorial link. watch it only if you are not a pro. you seem to be good at fl. but still thought that i would be of some help.

Cockos Reaper.

It supports vsti and is user friendly, plus the demo has no limit so you can pay when you can/want.
