When I was a pup, I got into The Jam mainly because they weren't that big in the USA back in the day, until after they broke up and got kind of cult-y. You know me, always have to buck the crowd. Anyway, I totally respect The Clash, and understand what they did for Rock... but I prefer to listen to The Jam.

As much as I respect Joe, Mick, Paul & Topper and the fantastic output that The Clash made, I just think that the sound that came out of the The Jam suits my personal sensibilities more.
And for the record Blur > Oasis
