I grew up listening to these guys. It makes me absolutely sick to listen to the awesome music that these guys made and think that they threw it all away for drugs. How tragic. Does anyone else get sad when you hear the music these guys (Cobain and Staley) made?

Yeah. I agree with you. It's sad that Nirvana and AIC's music had to come to an end. Now, no one can never look forward to a song that Kurt or Layne wrote. It's all very depressing.

AiC is an awesome band. After Layne died, all of the lyrics they had written suddenly made sense and made them all the more powerful and sad at the same time. He expressed the torment going on in his head through those songs. Sadly it never helped him cope with it :(

Kurt cobain isn't my idol no more. Its a terrible message he gives you; telling you to do drugs, get depressed, and suicide. I was very sad when he killed himself because he was very talented and he threw it all down the drain. Mostly people judge Kurt on how he killed himself and not by his music. Its just too tragic. R.I.P.

Yeah, even the stars that weren't on drugs at the height of the popularity seem to have become addicts lately, maybe its a phase... for old people with money?
