I'm listening to the album right now for the first time. James Hetfield seems to be screaming " I am the table, I am the table ! ". Lou reed is talking about little girls spitting into his mouth... or something? Unintentionally hilarious but so bad, maybe it's actually good ? Opinions?

It's a steaming pile of sh*t. I don't understand how someone with ears could listen to Lulu and think, "yeah this is good, let's release it."

I'm a Metallica fan, but I have to be honest and say that their output after 1988 has been mostly poor, with a few good tracks here and there.

If this is what Lou Reed calls music, I'm not interested in hearing any more of his music. Both Lou Reed and Metallica should be ashamed.

...and yes, sadly James Hetfield is screaming "I am the table, I am the table !". WTF James?

That album is dead to me. When I heard about it I thought it was a ridiculous idea and wanted no part of it at all. I will never even give it a chance because Lou Reed and Metallica just don't mix. As far as im concerned death magnetic was the last release by Metallica and they must have only did the Lou Reed thing because they are friends.

I thought St. Anger was bad...

Apparantley there is a now infamous interview where Lou Reed bursts out crying, claiming Metallica has bought out the best in him.

Leaving a lot to the imagination there Lou.

It's the worst album of 2011 but of course both of them think it's the best thing they ever did, Lou said it would open up a second dimension or something like that.

I streamed the first two tracks and I'm glad I did, because the reviews I read made it seem like something I would find interesting. I didn't find it interesting, I found it boring and tedious. So I didn't buy it.

The artists clearly had a lot of fun, though, for everything they've said about the project. So I'm happy for them.

I hated it. I remember reading a review that said "any interesting ideas on here are wasted or pounded into submission" or something like that. Couldn't agree more.

i heard Metallica wanted to get out of it but they had compromised themselves to do it so they did it quick and they came out with crapp. Metallica stop experimenting

It had potential, but it also possesses failure.
