I'm inclined to think Zeppelin IV but since it's been so long since I actually got the LED out I may be mistaken.

Poor Gerry -

I highly recommend some Ginseng or Ginkgo Biloba be added to your diet as soon as possible.

Please tell your wife.

I'll find you some of those little mind exercises for Memory Improvement for the Elderly as quickly as I can.

A man so young!

To lose one's Rock Memory so very early in life.

It's such a tragedy, but we HAVE been warned over and over again ----- too much Hannah Montana, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and the Jonas Brothers ---- played in Dad's truck WILL cause Dad's little pea brain to simply implode.

Led Zeppelin IV was their masterpiece.

Led Zeppelin II comes in Second Place.

You wanna see some REAL argument here ..... ask the same question about which Rolling Stones album was the best --- there's like 50 of them.

Just using their regular stiudo albums I'd have to say:

1971 Led Zeppelin IV (ZOSO)

Released: 8 November, 1971

Label: Atlantic

Format: LP

Track listing

Side one

No. Title Writer(s) Length

1. "Black Dog" Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones 4:57

2. "Rock and Roll" Page, Plant, Jones, John Bonham 3:40

3. "The Battle of Evermore" Page, Plant 5:52

4. "Stairway to Heaven" Page, Plant 8:02

Side two

No. Title Writer(s) Length

1. "Misty Mountain Hop" Page, Plant, Jones 4:38

2. "Four Sticks" Page, Plant 4:46

3. "Going to California" Page, Plant 3:31

4. "When the Levee Breaks" Memphis Minnie, Page, Plant, Jones, Bonham 7:07

If using their Compilation albums I'd have to go with:

2008 Definitive Collection

Released: 4 November, 2008

Label: Atlantic/Rhino

Format: CD

Track Listing too long to enclose, sorry.

Oh, if you want the track listing you can go to wikipedia.org

enter led zeppelin

go to discography

go to Compilation albums

It is the last one listed. It contains 12 discs.

Definitely "Mothership"! It's a double CD with all of their best! The deluxe version even contains a DVD with many of their best performances too. It is hands down the greatest Led Zeppelin album ever!

All of them are amazing. I have every Led Zeppelin album and have listed to every song. I think Led Zeppelin II and Houses Of The Holy are some of the best though :)

That's a tough one. I'd say it's between Led Zeppelin II & IV. I do not dare to choose, but for most of the people would be Led Zeppelin IV (is the one with more sales).

IV is definitely the most popular album, but an argument could be made for any of the first 4 to be the best. I've considered each my favorite at different times in my life. Sitting here right now, I can't make up my mind, each offers some of the greatest music known to rock.
