I like kinda slow alternative music.. and the stuff i have is getting kinda old. I like the stuff they don't play on the radio and stuff that nobody really knows about. Kind of in the style of the fray? Let me know :)

The Hush Sound

Jack's Mannequin

The Last Goodnight

I'll second Iron and Wine.. also

City and Colour,( they sound similar to me, love them both.)

He Is We, (female fronted, AMAZING MUSIC)

The Decemberists (Their picking up in popularity, but I, personally, still haven't heard them on the radio)

The Hush Sound (Guy and Girl, never hear them on the radio, GREAT feel)

The Lighthouse and The Whaler

Lissie (Girl singer/songwriter, she's pretty laid back sounding)

The Maine (can be faster, but a great feel good group)

Minus The Bear

The Spill Canvas (Speed varies, but really good)

hope that helps:)

Fleet Foxes, and The DIamond Light are good.

Edit: Don't know if you like foreign music but try Cui Jian. He's from the 80s, and his music was a strong force during the 1989 tiananmen square protests.

Try this band called Deerhunter. You might like them. Iron and Wine is great, try listening to the National start with their album "The Boxer".
