Scott Weiland is great! Anyways my favorite cover song of all time is Shinedown's version of "Simple Man". But there are so many great covers of awesome songs. There's no way I could name them all. Another one that comes to mind as a favorite is Seether's cover of "Careless Whisper".

BQ: I never got into STP that much until after I started really getting into Velvet Revolver. I love Velvet Revolver's "Sucker Train Blues" and "Pills, Demons, Etc..."

BQ2: My favorite Radiohead song is No Surprises

Great question as always!

Joe Cocker - She came in through the bathroom window http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiXh2gnasw0

José Feliciano did another great cover of the song - have it on vinyl, but it's not on YouTube yet, sigh...:-)

With A Little Help From My Friends - Original by the Beatles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBDF04fQKtQ

Cover by Joe Cocker (way better than the original) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijsogLJvBB4 - the "Beat Club" was a very popular German TV series during the sixties.

there are live versions online, but they don't come anywhere close to the studio version they did {for the compilation album "Legacy: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac's Rumours"}.

BQ: 'Big Empty' ~ STP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv5LEdLZJqk&fmt=18

{yes, I had the ost for "The Crow"!}

I was just reading about that earlier and it looks like he's picked some great songs. I don't really listen to Scott Weiland or STP but it'd be interesting to hear what some of those covers will sound like.
