So today's song is a very famous cheesy 1980's rock song by a famous cheesy rock band as done by a far less famous 1980's indie jangle pop group.

MQ: You know, I don't think I have a favorite Van Halen song. Does David Lee Roth's "Just A Gigolo" count for the kitsch factor?

MQ2: Of course I know Aztec Camera! I had the biggest crush on Roddy Frame, his accent just killed me when I was about 12 years old. "Oblivious" and "Walk Out To Winter" are two of my favorite songs of theirs, I still have "High Land, Hard Rain" on vinyl.



There used to be an MTV America show circa 1984-1985-1986 that (if memory serves) was called "London Calling". Please correct me if I'm wrong. One episode featured Roddy Frame sitting in a laundromat singing "The Birth Of The True" with an acoustic guitar. I rewound it over and over and over. Still have it on a VHS tape somewhere.
