ive been a fan of the BoC for about 6 yrs now and they are hard to beat. casino v's japans first two albums ( go hawaii, whole numbers play the basics) have real gems ( not as good as boc of course) but there are a few dud fillers. lackluster have a few good ones but again, some of it is way too heavy on accented beats. christian klein ( of hermann and klein ) has some , "bitter things " is partic good. ive been looking for a long time for some worthy opponents and the search goes on.... dont you just love "everything you do is a balloon".............

It's not too dark, but Arms and Sleepers' 'Matador' album is really nice along those lines.
