What Mega band member do you think has has the most success or best solo material?

Alice Cooper. [not AS good as the Group was, that stuff was astounding, but he's still damn good on his own.]

Ozzy Osbourne, maybe, but I don't think he writes his stuff? Still cool though.

Johnny Thunders (not a mega band, but New York Dolls really should've been)

Overall I'd say Clapton. even if you won't let me count Blind Faith or his associations with Bonnie & Delaney because those weren't true solo projects. I consider Derek/Dominoes as Clapton solo, as Bobby Whitlock and Carl Radle played on all his solo stuff anyway. Either way, it's Clapton :P



Honorable mention: Pete Townshend. His albums Empty Glass, White City, and Psychoderelict are greatly underrated and would have been 80's Who masterpieces if Keith Moon had survived.
