What do you think of Sarah McLachlan?

"Angel" has a new place in my heart. A teen friend died last year in a car wreck and we played this at his 1yr anniversary a few months back, and people were sobbing during the picture slideshow, so now everytime I hear this song I automatically think of him. RIP David.

I love the entire Surfacing album though.

Do you have any songs you like by her?

My favorite songs by her are Angel, I Will Remember You, Possesion, Shelter, and Do What You Have To Do.



If you like Sarah McLachlan, I recommend Vienna Teng. Her style is somewhat similar.

I got into Sarah McLachlan after hearing 'Possession' used on an episode of "Due South", and then discovered she worked with Stevie Nicks on the "Trouble in Shangri-La" album.

i like Sarah McLachlan's video that she shot herself and the words read how much she saved to send to people in need in africa. i think she is a very intelligent woman which is so different than what hollywood portrays woman. i also like the fact for the most part she writes her own songs. takes a true artist to do that.
