have you been meaning to check out a band for years...but have'nt got around to it?

Question

i just got round to checking out afghan whigs and madder rose.
well m glad i got round to it.
i seen them years ago on late night music show called the beat
(anybody remember that show)
i think its easier to find stuff from bands you like since i got the interweb.
so what bands did you leave for years to check out?
or is it just me?

The Whigs are great! I haven't really liked much for new music since the mid 90's...I like Bright Eyes a lot though and just discovered them lately...some bands you may like that aren't well known:

Sonic Youth

The Pixies

Mark Lanegan(anything from Winding Sheet)

The Raincoats

Flipper

Dinosaur Jr

Sebadoah(sp?)

I keep meaning to check out Pink Floyd! But I keep forgetting.

It took me forever to check out Flyleaf and now they're one of my favorites of all time. I'm so glad I checked them out, but I'm kinda mad at myself for not noticing them earlier.
