Rick Wright was one of My Musical Heroes, and was one of My main inspirations to learn to play better.

These are My two favorite works from Him

Any Colour You Like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T04im0MLqrw

A Saucerful Of Secrets
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76yQFV58-0o
(I have spent countless hours tuning My B3 to get it to sound like that because of His work in this song)

Say whatever You like to say about Richard Wright, post whatever works of His You like best if You want, and Thank You

I don't know if this will post but I have to have it out regardless

RIP Richard Wright

Damn, this is sad. See? THIS is Exactly why I keep saying the classic rockers (what we have left of them),k should shut up & reunite & do one last kickass album before someone passes away. I hate when we lose the really big names.

RIP

We've lost a bonefide rock legend.

RIP Rick.

I can only echo Silver Rose Wolf - Great Gig in the Sky is so hauntingly beautiful.

For me...maybe because Waters fired him, I've had a sense of Wright being underappreciated by many for a long, long time. So when I heard the news of his passing this afternoon, it really left a pit in my stomach. As one who has lost a close family member to cancer this year, I just think it's a crime for Rick to be taken from us in this way.

Sorry if I'm rambling, it's just coming out as I'm typing/writing this.

Richard Wright, One of time greats of Rock Keyboard.

My favorite would be, of course, The Great Gig In The Sky. Such a beautiful song, it would be nothing without Wright. Any Color You Like is a great one, too.

Anyway, my favorites are Stay from Obscured and Atom Heart Mother Suite. And of course, the sublime Great Gig In The Sky...

Loved the guy, one of the best members of my second favorite band, and one of my favorite keyboardists of all time.

I'm a piano player as well, and really enjoy learning his keyboard parts.

RIP Rick Wright, you're already missed.

My favourite is my favourite Pink Floyd song :~

The Great Gig in the Sky

Whilst no one can sing that vocal like Clare Torry, it just wouldn't be what it is with out Rick's beautiful piano playing...

Wow Karl I'm just finding this out. I tell you man it seems that God always takes away the good and talented people and leave abominations like Creed and Dragonforce here. R.I.P Richard Wright.

It's a shame he died. he wasn't even that old...

I actually never listened to Pink Floyd, so I guess, I can't say what my favorite song is, featuring his keyboard.

But, he will be greatly missed. and Bless his family.

Rest In Peace.
