I have a Roland TD4 electric drum set and sometimes when I hit the rde, it wont make a sound. Like every second or third hit, it wont make a sound and it will do this more than once, for example, I will hit it three times and it will make a sound and then another like, two, an t wont make sounds. Whats the problem?

Kriss basically described it pretty well, but it's not necessarily the sensor itself. It could be a bad connection, a bad cable, or a problem in the sound module. A loose connection or broken wire would probably be the most likely cause.

Well the difference between an acoustic drumset and a electric one. Is that they are basically a piece of plastics right? So the way the deliver any type of sound other than a plastic bang is a little sensor underneath every piece of your set that gives you the sound of the drums. So the sensor might just so be broken or just have fallen out from your kit.
