Question:
why is it that pop singers today are not as good as yesterdays singers?

Being bias and because I'm getting on a bit...where are those singers that sing like real men,
Perry Como, Nat king Cole, Frank Sinatra....list goes on.
To-days pop singers verily screech with high pitched tiny voices..especially the men,
This will cause a storm...your views

I completely agree with you! Amen.

The answer to your question: the target audience has no appreciation for true music! They don't have a clue what's really good. It's a shame. Like comedies today compared with the wit of Cary Grant and Sammy Davis Jr. I'm only 34 and miss the good old days. ;)

I completely agree. The twentieth century and all of the great things it had are fading. Not just with this particular topic, but with a lot of things. Values and trends are changing and I don't like the direction they're going. Granted, I was only alive for 8 years of the twentieth century, I know pop culture and history and I respect it.

fairly no they do no longer seem to be, the singers of yesteryear have been waiting to sing something stay, the singers on the instant are picked for their seems and not their voice, any such shame as there are some damn good singers obtainable which will on no account get the prospect to polish because of the fact they don't have the nicely suited seem.

You see, Justin Bieber walked up and started singing Oh baby baby... you know,

So then Frank Sinatra ran to get his earmuffs, but he was too late,

And Justin Bieber's music had killed him..

Pop "singers" today are not popular because of their singing quality but selected on looks.

Since autotune was invented, everyone's been too lazy to sing well.
