Unique Christian bands?

It can even be rap, I really like Lacrae.
I am Christian, but most Christian music really bothers me because somehow all the singers seem to sing in the same voice.. Anything new and fresshh??

I know what you mean....I've spent many, many hours trying to find bands with some truly unique and fresh music, and here's what I've found so far:



Earthsuit, Dc Talk (Newer albums), Kevin Max (Existence, Blind, Sanctuary, etc), Pas Neos (The Hour has Come, Tread Light, Tread Slow, etc), Fold Zandura (King Planet, Please Believe, etc), Jars of Clay (I Need You, Flood, Boy on a String, and many others), Newsboys (their older albums), Salvador (Lord I Come Before You, Can't Keep It In, You Are There, etc), Josh Darrells, Fernando Ortega (No One Else and This Good Day), MuteMath (some of their songs - like Chaos and Control - are Christian), TobyMac (Atmosphere Remix feat. DC Talk, Extreme Days, etc), KyeKye, ...

I'm a Christian, but I also feel that too many Christian artists sound the same or just sound boring. There are a few that I like though...Flyleaf, Red, Sanctus Real, and David Crowder Band.

Other than that, my exposure to the genre is limited at best (I'm not religious). I've heard Amy Grant, for instance, but wouldn't recommend her at all.
