how much do martin guitars cost?

I want this martin guitar for christmas, but i want to be aware of the price. So i found this small one for $19.95. is that one that is made from fake material. a martin guitar looks like this.

The cheapest Martin you will find new is the LXME "Little Martin" for $339 but it is not a full sized guitar. The next step up are the full sized X series that start at $449. These are lower end import guitars that will not have the "real" Martin sound.

A "real" Martin guitar is very expensive! Depending on the model you want, they can cost thousands of dollars! The prices usually start around $400 and go up to the thousands of dollars for some custom models. I re-finished one for a friend years ago. I believe it was a D-53 if I remember correctly. He didn't tell me what it was worth until after I had completed the job. he told me that he had been offered $5,000 for that guitar but wouldn't sell it. here are some links for the Martin Guitars that yo may enjoy! anything under $200 is a toy, seriously



the guitar you showed a photo of runs about $100,000

They are high quality instruments that have an appropriately high price tag.
