Richie Hayward, the drummer and co-founder of Little Feat, died August 10 after a year-long bout with acute liver disease. He was 64.

Of course I know and love Little Feat, they are in my personal Top 5. I knew Richie was sick...lots of years drinking did him in. I guess Billy Payne is the only original member left.

Very sad news. This is a legendary band. Anyone who has never heard them owes it to themselves to give them a listen.
