I love them!!! I'm seeing them this February...soooooooo excited. :)

They used to be my 2nd favorite band (however they've dropped :( ). Still, I think they are amazing, especially for a 2 man band. Dan Auerbach's vocals are great and I love his style of guitar playing. They are definitely one of the better modern bands out there, I haven't found anyone quite like them.

Favorite Songs: "Breaks", "Oceans & Streams",

"Lengths", "Aeroplane Blues", "No Trust", "I Cry Alone", "Lies", "My Mind is Ramblin", "The Flame", "She Said, She Said"

Favorite Albums (in order):

The Big Come Up

Rubber Factory

Thickfreakness

Chulahoma

Attack & Release

Magic Potion

didn't do it for me.

i bought 'attack and release' on the basis of some half-remembered review that had piqued my interest.

or maybe i was just confusing them with someone else.

either way, i was disappointed in it.

edit: ok, thanks. i'll try it. i hadn't realised how many albums they'd made........

I don't know much about them so maybe you can recommend to me what their best album is. I was looking in the store but didn't know which one to buy first. (I prefer hard blues-rock music)

Edit; Thanks!
