So I was listening to the classic rock station and this song I've never heard came on. It was an instrumental. I didn't hear the very start, but the first part I heard was kind of eerie. It sounded like in the background they were singing "Alleluia". There was alot of keyboard/progressive type sequences in the middle of the song, and then it ended with an awesome, fast acoustic part with pretty heavy drums. It sounded like a progressive rock band, maybe Yes, or Rush? It was a 70's show, so I know it was from the 70's. It was at least 7 minutes long, probably closer to 10. Please help me identify this song.

Were the voices kinda choir-like? High-pitched lead singer?

My initial reaction so far is ELP or maybe Yes.

Greg might be correct, but I'd be *Really* surprised if any mainstream radio station played anything like solo Wakeman.

Have you tried checking the station's website? They often have playlists posted.

I think you mean a song from Yessongs...

"Excerpts from 'The Six Wives of Henry VIII'" - Yes (Rick Wakeman keyboards)

It follows "Mood For A Day" on side 3 of the album.
