This is all very shocking but, R.I.P Lou...
The fact that he died on a Sunday morning is extremely haunting and fitting at the same time, considering one of the first songs he recorded with Velvet Underground was called 'Sunday Morning'. You couldn't write a script like that.

You're right about Lou but wrong about the state of music today. Lou Reed had very little to do with mainstream yet it seems that's all you know of todays music. Pity, your missing quite a lot, but you know what? I don't f*cking care!

It's a shame, especially considering his saying that he felt better than ever after his liver transplant earlier this year. He's definitely secured his status as a major rock pioneer and his legacy will live on.

I agree with you, I still can't believe that Lou Reed died today. It was such a shocking moment, it came out of nowhere. Darn shame that we lost such a legendary musician.

because lou reed has been musically relevant since, what, the 70's? Sure he was a great musician 60's-70's, but he's done nothing note able since. So stop acting like such a le music defener.
