Albums that critics love so much that everybody hates them and often looks them over because everybody hates them so much.

Like Never Mind the Bollocks.

Pet Sounds is the only one for me, tbh. Well, not that everyone hates it, but it's one of those cases where it's critical overrated-ness certainly closes *some* people's minds to it.

BQ: Ok, now this really is a contradiction... I think.

BQ2: ... *mindfart*

BQ3: *doesn't even try to get reference*

The band is Muse. Most overrated song is Uprising. Everyone loves it because it's so mainstream but it's just not that great compared to the other stuff. Sure, it has a great falsetto but that doesnt really make it anymore than an average Muse song. The most overrated album is The Resistance. It has some moments of brilliance (Resistance, The Exo-genesis symphonies, MK ULTRA) but as a whole it just doesn't cut the mustard. People claiming it's Queen reincarnated, it's nowhere near Queens magnificence. The most underrated song....That's a difficult one. There are so many songs that don't have the love and attention they deserve (Darkshines, The groove, Futurism, Megalomania, Dead Star, Invincible, Unintended, Showbiz, Fillip, Ashamed, Hyper music, Exo-politics, Map of your head, Crying Shame) But I think I'm going to go with the Groove. Its an amazing track, and has a powerful, yet simple rhythm. The most underrated album? Easily Origin of Symmetry. It was the days when Muse where at their most insane and brilliant. The album works perfectly. It opens with a synthesizer and closes with a huge church organ. What more can you want?

Critcs loved Kid A, but people hated it because it was "too weird"

I don't think The Division Bell by Pink Floyd was as bad as the critics said it was.

The Black Album doesn't deserve the crap it gets from the Metallica fanbase, either.

Thriller. Most of my friends hate it just because it's so popular. When I say "Baby Be Mine" they don't know what i'm talking about though.

BQ: Animal by Kesha. I think i'm the only person that hates that album though ;)

BQ2: Wtf

BQ3: It's not a long ting, you're the boom ting, maybe more than a hotel room ting.

Pet Sounds

Is This It

Funeral

London Calling

...Nevermind, i guess. Its might be more overrated than underrated. but objectively, in terms of impact, its rated perfectly by critics. No album has had that much impact since. not even close. Subjectively, to me, its only their 3rd or 4th best album.

BQ: uh...Achtung Baby?

BQ2: i don't go diggin around for no shitty albums

BQ3: sounds like an Xcore teletubby
