So What Do You Think About This Awesome Guitarist That NEVER Gets Mentioned In R&P?

The incomprable Robin Trower. Formerly of Procol Harum. he released one of the greatest Guitar-Rock albums ever in 1974's "Bridge Of Sighs"

Oh, definitely !!

I like all his stuff, up through Victim of the Fury and a great Live album, as well.

He was also the best thing to happen to a then-slumping, Procol Harem.

He wrote "Whiskey Train" didn't he ??

BQ --

Well, 2 come to mind -- early west coast guys --

John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service is very underrated.

...and Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna, and his wonderful solo album, "Quah" --

He was a true original, in a truly original time :)

Oh, also -- though Be Bop Deluxe never really caught-on in the U.S. -- I still think Bill Nelson is one of the great, creative guirtarist, ever.

His "fills" within complex arrangements, are legendary.

one of the greatest guitarists ever. I got to see him up close and personal at the Fillmore in San Francisco, simply fantastic. Caravan to Midnight and Bridge of Sighs are two of my favorites ever, or Simple Sister by Procol Harum, one of Trower's greatest guitar lines.

BQ: John Fahey, Davey Graham, Roy Buchanan and Gabor Szabo are NEVER mentioned on R&P.

Too bad Robin had to team up with Jack Bruce for some yawns.

BQ: How many times do I have to say it? Rory Gallagher is the greatest guitarist ever. Hendrix thought so too.
