why many people dont like pure rock and roll,metal,hardcore,etc?

they even told me that this is all an old skool..but many people cant understand where's all this genre's come from..it becoz of our legendary show up and prove it to the world whats rock n roll,metal,hardcore etc means..such as jimi hendrix,steve vai,slash,tom morello n others..but now..it already been buried by new mixing genre n top of that..there's no any pure genre anymore..im so sad...

Most people follow the trends of music, as with any fashion, hence the term 'mainstream'.



Most forms of rock are no longer considered 'mainstream' and thus, are no widely listened to. The same will happen to today's genres soon or later.



It's not unlikely, as it happens quite often, that your favourite genre may make a short comeback at some point too. That's the point that you'll get to say "yeah I've liked it all along" for a few months :D

I love all of what you said but sub genres are great to. I mean if I didn't have Doom Metal I am not sure what I would do. Though some genres took it to far I mean PornoGrind? Really? But still there is no need to hate sub genres or sub sub genres for that matter.



Mathcore is a amazing sub sub genre even though most people can't get into to it. It is still amazing.
