i am a intermediate guitar player and i want to know if i can make a kills witch with a 3 way selector switch?

is for my guitar i have a ibanez js 100 and it have a 3 way selector switch so i want to know if i can make a kill switch for it you know like the kill switch that tom morello has, if i can, can you tell me how please, thank you, if you can answer me in spanish it would be better for me thank you for your time.

Pickups are usually wired in combinations through the three way switch. You could make a kill position but it would be complex. Adding a small toggle switch that cuts the connection of one of the wires to the volume control is the easiest way to get what you want.

You can make a kill switch out of two pieces of wire, a project box, a button, and a guitar cord. There are a few videos on you tube that can explain how to put these items together as a kill switch. here is one, if it still works:

If you want the easiest way to do it, just turn off the volume to one of your pickups.



The 3-way switch selecting to the no volume pickup should act kinda like a killswitch

i could vote for a respectable guitar when you consider which you're already an intermediate participant. a miles less costly one can not fulfill you and that is like money down the drain. stable acoustic guitar manufacturers are Goodall, McPherson, Collings, Santa Cruz, Froggy backside, Huss & Dalton, and Lowden, to call some.
