edit - KC, I hate you.
Since Vampire Weekend only have two albums
King Crimson
1. The Power to Believe (2003)
Interesting album. Adds another level of versatility to Robert Fripp's compositions. This album is great. It sounds really futuristic, everything is more synthy and electronic and spacey, but it's still good. Adrian Belew's voice is autotuned on a lot of the songs, so it makes the instrumental parts a lot better.
2. The ConstruKction of Light (2000)
This album is probably their second worst, after Red. But that doesn't matter much since I love all of them. There's another part of Larks Tongues in Aspic on it, which is nice. The lyrics on it are extremely sarcastic and often fail at trying to be funny. It's got some of their 80s New Wave sounds on it, which isn't bad, but you would have expected them to evolve 19 years after Discipline. Songs like Into the Frying Pan dabble in Psychedelia, which they haven't done before. It's great but not one I'd recommend to a new listener.
3. Thrak (1995)
I haven't even listened to all of this one yet. What I did hear on it seemed a bit funky, like a lot of 90s rock was. There's a song on it about how ridiculously old they are, which is random. I really like what I have heard from it though. VROOM and Walking on Air are great songs.
4. Three of a Perfect Pair (1984)
This one is like prog pop the first half and experimental the second half. It's got my favorite part of Larks Tongues in Aspic on it though, Part III. Both halves are good, but they don't feel very unified.
5. Beat (1982)
I LOVE this album. Waiting Man is one of my top 3 songs by them. It's got some world music influences this time, and it continued with the New Wave thing they had going but, combined with some other influences they added to their arsenal, sounds COMPLETELY different from Discipline, only a year later. This is their best album after 1971.
Since KC jacked KC from me and I have no life, I'll do OutKast as well.
1. Idlewild (2006)
This album gets hated on too much. Big Boi was at his best (See The Mighty O and Morris Brown) form since Aquemini and Andre 3000 continued to show off his versatility, maybe even surpassing The Love Below on his solo songs on the album. Plus the female-centric songs are all at least decent. The Greatest Show on Earth is GREAT.

2. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2004)
The first time they separated to show their individual sides. It wasn't what anybody was expecting. Big Boi stopped being a gangster and instead focused on really deep stuff, and Andre 3000 just made everybody go WTF. The media ate it up but the OutKast fans felt betrayed for a while. Some people still but they're just nostalgic. The Love Below is better than any OutKast album except Aquemini.

3. Stankonia. (2000)
The album that made them mainstream. It's got Ms. Jackson, So Fresh, So Clean, and B.O.B. Not much to say about this one. It's such a good album, even though it's probably their only album with songs that I could call "filler."

4. Aquemini (1998)
Their best album. I can't even talk about this. It's just amazing. They both proved themselves as top-notch MCs on this album.

5. ATLiens (1996)
Andre 3000 was still gangster on this album, which doesn't really fit for him, Big Boi did better on it than him because he does a lot better as a gangster. The production on this is really good too, songs like E.T. and the title track have some of their best beats.
