Do you think One Direction are just like the other manufactured bands and will fade away?

Personally, I think they are only famous because little 12 year olds think they are attractive haha. But anyways, if given maybe 2-3 years, do you think these annoying twats will go away? (No annoying little fangirls or hate)

i think they will fade out in like 2-5 years... after they make a few albums then do solo careers then fade out...

Okay, first I'm 16, not 12 and yes I love One Direction, but yeah, they WERE manufactured and will probably fade, but they're not fakely manufactured. Does that make sense? I mean, they were put together as a band with the obvious intention of making money out of them, except they're not just popular for their looks or their music, a lot of their fans (at least the older ones, not so much the twelvies) actually love THEM. Like, when you watch their X factor video diaries, they weren't even that famous then so they weren't trying to uphold a certain image, and they haven't changed from that when you watch them now. And they don't try and be goody-goody like the Jonas Brothers or something stupid, they're pretty real young guys, I think that's what's going to make them more than just a year-long trend.

i am a fangirl BUT i do think soon ( within the next year or two) another band will come along and everyone will like them instead... ifeel theyre a passing craze.
