How come Guns N' Roses isn't in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame...?

One last question. If Guns N' Roses ever gets in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, will it be the original band members accepting the award? Will Slash, Axl, Duff, Izzy, and Steven finally reunite?!

There are Trolls who probably know more about R'n'R than the so called "hall of shame". They have little or no credibilty anymore, and may as well induct Mylie whatever-her name is, just to receive some financial backing from Disney!.....

Artists only become eligible for induction to the Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first record.



That means GnR become eligible in 2012, and Nirvana in 2014.



The Who were inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1990.



Regarding original members of a band being inducted, its the band as a whole who are inducted not the individual members. Something similar happened when Blondie were inducted a few years ago..they allowed two original members who had left to accept the award on stage with them, but didn't want to play with them.

i think it is only bands/singers that have been an influence for 25 years or more that can be accepted. nirvana was not a band for that long, but i wish they were.
