Probably the only person that loves organist Jesse Crawford, Slayer, Lee Wiley, Tammy Wynette, and the Wu-Tang Clan all with the same passion. Guess you could say I'm crazy about music.
Been playing organ for 18 years. After studying and playing guitar seriously for 20 years, I discovered the tones of a 1960 all tube type Lowrey organ and that was it! I soon found the Hammond & Wurlitzer organs and was in a 'tone head's paradise. Having been a loyal fan of The Doors since the age of ten might have been the stimulus to push me into switching instruments. So you'll see some organ records.
My PSA:
[SAVE THE ELECTRONIC ORGANS 1929-1979 especially these:
Conn , Gulbransen , Hammond , and Wurlitzer]
My favorite record since finding it in 2010 is John Winters - 'Organ Moods John Winters at the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ'. I listen to it very often. It is a masterpiece and certainly lowers my blood pressure:)

( it is NOT a pipe organ, but an electronic organ that has yet to really be identified. the term ' mighty Wurlitzer' could be a generic name given to any non-Hammond, or non-classical organ. I have made it my mission to find out what the organ is though because I'd love to acquire the same organ. In the meantime I own a few organs that come close to his sound. The CONN 815 CLASSIC model has come the closest.]
Also love the 1930's popular music ( when every instrument in the band worked together and the vocal breaks were uniquely their own, no cookie cutter like MOST of the commercial crap of 40's-50's and present!) [ check out pax41 youtube channel]
