What if....
Metallica had called their first album "Metal up your ***" as they originally had palnned?
Dav Mustaine never left Metallica?
Steve Souza never left Testament to join Exodus?
Anthrax was formed in California instead of NYC?

1. Their record label might have given them the boot. But the fans would love it.



2. There would be no kirk hammet it metallica!!! And where would Megadeth be?! BUT, I doubt that Metallica would have ever sold out if they kept Dave... And what a perfect world that would be. Metallica would still be hailing all music.



3. Exodus would be better with him than without him, and Testament would've been without a pretty good guitarist...



4. The singers wouldn't have NYC accents.

If they had kept the same MUYA as the album name they would not have been signed to a big label 'til the labels realized that the band was for real.



If Dave Mustaine had never left Marty Friedman would still be recording Yngwie Malmsteenish style music.

Metallica would never have recorded the Black Album and the garbage that followed.

Kirk Hammet would no longer be in the Top 5 best Metal guitarists. (thank goodness)

They would have found a better replacement to Cliff Burton than the Flotsam and Jetsam reject Jason Newsted.

We wouldn't have Megadeth Classics like Hangar 18, and many, many others.

Anthrax was formed in California instead of NYC? Probably would have gotten compared to like, Motley Crue and it may have cheapened their credibility. I think being from New York and not sounding like a Bob-Dylan wannabe is a good thing, no? Lol

Because Megadeth is one of my favorite bands,
