I don't care too much for Hagar... I like some of his solo, that's it though.

i've got seen Van Halen with David Lee Roth...i've got seen Sammy Hagar in the past he joined Van Halen, i've got seen Sammy with Van Halen. David Lee Roth with Van Halen is by far lots extra suited. Sammy grow to be extra suited on his very own than with Van Halen.

I was actually just listening to Best of Both Worlds to change things up a little bit. I normally only listen to Van Halen with Diamond Dave. My opinion is that Sammy Hagar had a great solo career, but he wasn't right for Van Halen.

Sammy Hagar doesn't have the same showmanship as David Lee Roth. I prefer the earlier stuff they did with David Lee Roth, because it was harder and had less of a pop influence to it. Don't mind "Dreams" though.

old van halen was a harder rock with hagar they lightened up a bit but it was still good. i like sammys solo stuff. but now with eddies kid wolfgang playing bass i wont listen to them.i think they did michael anthony wrong and i hope they are never heard from again

I quit listening to them when Sammy took over for David Lee. They became more of a pop band with Sammy and less of a hard rock band.

I love Sammy Pre-VH Solo Career, and His work with Montrose, which was absolutely killer. But I absolutely cannot stand Him with Van Halen, just UGH!!!

i like them better with hagar even though i only like ac/dc, green day, mcr. they were better with hagar because the songs weren't just about sex, drugs and women.
