Questions about Elvis presley

Q1: so he died in mid aug 1977... for me it is more almost close to 1978 virtually sort of to speak. Know was he drug on his last concert ? just sounded more like he was buffing out when speaking.. almost as if he was so tired to even speak and stand up.

Q2: the speakers that was used set up for the last concert for elvis.. looked very moderm... the speakers had this cool futureristic oval shape speakers and was place obove the ceiling hanging there... How come today yet in 2011 we still use the exact futurristic speakers since 1977? i had a looked at the videos how they set up the concert for elvis and notice the speakers looks like they are todays moderm design... you would think 1977 would be old stuff typical trendy of the 1970s But it sems that suppose it was close to the early 80s and for a fact the 80s was a moden era aniways.

Q2: If elvis presley was yet alife... how long do you think he would had lasted what carrier he had to the end ? for example i rekon he would had done just a few odd concerts in the 80s mainly early 80s.. till he just look sick and not able to continue until he was well.. and renunite back to a special come back tour concert in 1987 or 1988 sining all the classic past time songs mainly... and i rekond he would had done 2 more movies anytime late 80s to early 90s such as getting on the DALLAS series. But elvis presley would some how did very little come back tours and ever to make any more new songs or movies since he would aventually slow down due to his health and age in the early 1990s

Think about this.... how many famours male same age singers did the same thing as elvis from 1977 all thru the 90s ? did any other artist sort of retired slowly or did less songs then the 70s and somehow they retired or slow down in the 80s or 90s ? well you can sort of calculate that with elvis presley what might had been like.

Remember elvis presley at depends what age he was in 1988 and how old he was if he was alive in 1994

I believe he would sort of just totaly slow everything down due to his age and defently he would had some health issues agressively till he died in 1996 or 1997 at the age of ?

Know this is just imagine what it would had been like if elvis presley was still alive then.

If your going to say elvis presley still alive today.. i dought it.. if he was around he wouldnt be around today tho.... but if he was.. he would be at home all the times just like any retired old famours person...

And so he would had these come back specials in the 80s and did the DALLAS segment series at some point until 1989 perhaps... But also i believe he would had somehow sold his items in 1991 or 1992 such as his old cars... perhaps his customs where he would had been putting a bid price for sale... As a sign of his very last time for his carrier concerts due to his health issues

So i rekon he would had done a few odd concerts in the 80s one big one special in the early start of the 1990s and also 1 movie done sometime in the 80s and 1 on DALLAS the american series.. Which of course DALLAS ended in 1989 or 1990 ?

So tell me... what do you think elvis presley would had done if he was still alive all thru the 80s till....?

q1. Not sure if he was medicated during the concert. But his last concert was well above par compared to concerts from earlier that year. His final concert is far from being one of his worst.

q2. Don't know a lot about this. You sound like you know what you're saying.

q3. Just prior to his death Elvis was talking about touring Europe for the first time in 1978. He told Bill Belew (Jumpsuit designer) he was going to lose the weight and go off the pills. This was going to be his comeback.

Bill was planning to make a special suit for the tour "The Laser Suit" so that he could wow the audiences in Europe. I think if Elvis continued abusing his body with drugs and junkfood like he had been I doubt he would have lived another 5 years. There were a number of occasions where he almost overdosed and died before his death. I believe if he got his health back he would have toured the world playing big stadiums despite the reservations from his manager. Elvis was in high demand all across the globe. His manager was turning down million dollar offers, one of them was from a concert promotor from Australia who offered the Colonel a million dollars for Elvis to perform 3 shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

I think he would have returned to making movies because it was the main area of his career that he was the most unfulfilled. Even at the peak of his music career in 1956-57 he said his main ambition was to become a serious actor.

In a 1970 interview he said he wanted to return to making films but only if the movies were better than the ones he had starred in. He wanted to make a documentary about Karate which was to include him doing some karate demonstrations for his karate class. I believe the karate sequence in the doumentary This Is Elvis was for the movie. None of the material that was filmed was not good enough because Elvis wasn't in good health, so the project got shelfed.

I think he probably would have stopped touring by the mid 80's but he would have continued recording studio albums probably in the country and gospel music field. He had a recording session scheduled in early 1977 to record some country songs that he liked but he didn't turn up to the studio due to illness.

I doubt he would having returned to recording just rock n roll, since he got sick of singing his early hits "Hound Dog, Teddy Bear, All Shook Up etc ect but he had to because that's what the audience wanted to hear. He almost always rushed through these songs in the 70's by performing versions well shorter than the studio versions.

Q1: He was on drugs at his last concert, the last footage of him is very sad to watch.

Q2: The 70's wasn't exactly the middle ages, I was around in the 70's and we had videos and microwaves etc..., the only thing we didn't have was the internet, thankfully.

Q3:Elvis would probably have gone the same way as Johnny Cash and gone back to his blues country roots, probably with more success than Cash.

I think he would be making more gospel music like he did during his career (I believe CD, etc) after he had a more successful rock career

He would have ended up being really washed up, in my opinion.
