R&P, have you ever bought a CD, only to find out that the record company goofed and included the wrong music?

No, but I did buy a cd awhile back and when I got home and opened it, there was no cd. I called the store, and they replaced it. I made sure I opened it in front of them this time, though! lol.

Once I was looking for some songs by The Ramones to download and I came across one I've never heard of titled "My Pretty One". So I download the file but when I started listening to it I found out the song was actually The Knack's "My Sharona".

Only from eBay!!
Took 'em awhile to straighten it out, too ~ don't remember if I ever got what I ordered or if I just got a refund.
The music I ordered and the music I got were diametrically opposed... ordered something like Dan Fogelberg and got something like Rob Zombie! lol! In a Dan Fogelberg box.

Something like that happened to me but it wasn't the WRONG music, but something a little different.
I bought the album "Stand Up" by Jethro Tull when it first came out.
I took it home and played side one. Turned the album over to play side two and thought it sounded familiar. I looked at the label and it said side two and listed the songs that were supposed to be on there but it was actually side one again!
The album had 2 side ones! Took it back to the store and exchanged it, brought it back home to play, and it was 2 side ones again! I returned that one and got a refund.
Went to a different store, bought it again and when I played it at home it was ok.
Maybe I should have kept one of the screwed up ones but back then I didn't have that much money to afford doing that?
Interesting question!

I've never bought a record/cassette, but my parents have plenty. CD: I think Aqua lol BQ: Entire album? I don't even remember, I know the first song I downloaded was like Fall Out Boy though .. BQ2: VHS: I've never bought one but I own all the Disney movies from my childhood and my parents also have a lot of the 'classic movies' on VHS. DVD: I wanna say Mouse Hunt but I don't remember Blu Ray: I think Blu Ray is dumb so n/a I like this question, but it's too bad I'm only 17 so none of my answers really work haha.

Yeah, actually!
I picked up what I thought was the latest remaster of Chicago's self titled album, and ended up with some Nascar favorites compilation featuring Tim McGraw and the like. Same deal, the disc said Chicago, and everything.
The worst thing was it was from a Media Play close-out when they went under, so there were no returns... It was pretty awful.
