Question:
R&P: David Bowie VS T-Rex....?
?

So I was flicking channels yesterday when I came across...David Bowie on the Bio channel x)

It's been a while since I listened to Bowie, so I watched, naturally intrigued by the man's musical journey, as they were mentioning great artists of the glam rock era - Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, T-Rex etc, etc.
Only a few weeks ago, I'd been watching about Marc Bolan, and was just as intrigued.

So the question:
Who do you prefer - T-Rex OR David Bowie? And why?

BQ: Favourite song by your chosen artist?

BBQ: Favourite album by your chosen artist?

BBBQ: Who did Ziggy play guitar and 'jam good' with? ^^

Prefer Bowie hands down, but who knows what sort of shelf life Bolan would have had if he'd lived. I doubt his career would have had the longevity that Bowie's has had. Bowie was a pioneer. Ahead of his time and always groundbreaking setting new trends not following them.

BQ. My favourite song is actually a cover...Sorrow...Although I love 99% of his work, or Ashes to ashes (Actually could go on...)

David Bowie is a class act, both in writing and singing. T-Rex were the 70s equivalent of Justin Bieber

BBBQ: Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with Wierd and Gilly, The Spiders from Mars.

I don't think Marc Bolan was even in the same league as Bowie, personally. Tyrannosaurus Rex were OK, before he changed the name, but Bowie is about seventeen times better. Weird and Gilly, wasn't it?

I prefer David Bowie - More accessible, know more about him, it's who I grew up listening to.

1. Diamond Dogs

2. Aladdin Sane or Heroes - hard one to call!

3. Weird and Gilly And The Spiders From Mars

David Bowie, because I kinda grew up listening to him. He was one of my idols when I was a teen, so it's just a personal thing for me.

BQ: Changes

BQ2: Diamond Dogs

BQ3: With Weird and Gilly!

Probably David. David is more versatile, not that Marc wasn't, he's released some pretty coll folky stuff but ultimately, David takes the cake.

BA: At the moment, probably Yassassin.
