Who is the weirdest drummer in rock music? I'm talking like Les Claypool or Buckethead weird.

Keith Moon was insane

also not as widely known but Carl Palmer the drummer of ELP used to have a bell hanging from above his drum set and he would ring it with his teeth.

The only drummers I acknowledge are Keith Moon, John Bonham, and Neil Peart.



So I'll say Keith Moon because he was wild. Can't really say he was weird, but he did explode his drum set once to put up a show. Unfortunately, that didn't work too well for Pete Townshend.

even though it was in the 60s and 70s,,,keith moon was ahead of his time both drum skills-wise and weird-wise,,,in a humorous way,,,just check the s&m skit in "the kids are alright" dvd.
