.
Top 5 or Top 10, or whatever. (Intermixing choices is preferred, unless you only like one of the "playas.")

Your choices may not be on my list, but it is based-on recordings, that I've actually heard.

Please -- feel free to add your own !! :)

Some ideas --

Moe Tucker -- "Playin' Possum" ( the brilliance is in the FUN !! :)

Sterling Morrison -- "They Call Me Holmes, Jr." (actually, I made that up)

John Cale --

Vintage Violence, The Academy in Peril, Paris 1919, Fear, Slow Dazzle, Helen of Troy

L.A. Reed "Loooouuuuuu!!"( studio only, please :) --

Lou Reed, Transformer, Berlin, Sally Can't Dance, Metal Machine Music (Y!NOT?? ha ha), Coney Island Baby, Rock and Roll Heart, Street Hassle, The Bells (Yeah!!), Growing Up in Public, The Blue Mask, Legendary Hearts, New Sensations, Mistrial, New York, Magic and Loss, Set the Twilight Reeling, Ecstasy (Future Farmers of America !!!:), Hudson River Wind Meditations, ( and... ?) John Cale has collaberated with Brain Eno and that was interesting (I like Eno) Wrong Way up (2005) (Eno had produced Words for the dying for Cale previously)

but, the best post Velvet release from former members... I'll go with Cale and Reeds collaberation with album: Songs for Drella. A tribute to their VU manager and mentor, Andy Warhol. I like that album quite a bit.

Hi Libby, good to see you, what's the mess?
