I often read some people saying bad about green day. They say green day isn't punk band. They say they are gay or like that. I'm a huge fan of green day and I feel sad hearing those opinion about green day. Why do you think about this?

How could someone be actually jealous of a band? I can see if you were working in the music industry as a Pop Punk band and wasn't as successful as Green Day, but what would you be jealous of otherwise? It's like me saying, oh I don't like Justin Bieber and the reason why is because he can sing better than me. That's ridiculous.

They say those things because they are entitled to their own opinion. Just because you disagree with them, strongly as it may be, doesn't necessarily mean they make those comments other than they just don't like Green Day. Of course, there are haters or trolls but you already know that.

The thing is... Green Day sould out, and became pure ****, which isn't even punk anymore. If you listen to one of their older albums(i.e. Dookie) and compare it to their new crap, then you would see that they did in fact sell out.

There are two types of histers:
1) People who listen to those type of bands to fit in or be cool
2) People who bash on those bands because their popular and want to be different

i generally do not like green day's music. they are okay, just not not my cup of tea. i'm certainly not jealous though!
just because someone doesn't like a band it does mean they're jealous. why do people always think this is so?...

personally i dislike green day because of their media-attention seeking ways. they are just another group that posseses minimum if any talent musically, and are basically much music's bitches. most of today's music is also that way. VERY few are talented and/or not in it for the money

they used to be punk. then they changed themselves so they would stay relevant. they profited from the system they used to be so vehemently against, and therefore theyre not punk anymore.
