Anyone else as happy as I am that Anthrax finally announced their new singer?

I know there are gonna be some comments that "I didn't even know they're still around" or "they suck" but I love Anthrax and have been a fan since the beginning, and have always stuck with them through good and bad...

For those interesed the new lead singer for Anthrax is Dan Nelson and he was recommended by Rob Caggiano...


This is the latest from blabbermouth but I got this info days ago from Scott and Charlie directly since I am a nerd and still in their fan club \m/ -_- \m/

ANTHRAX has issued a press release officially announcing its new singer, Dan Nelson (as first reported by BLABBERMOUTH.NET back on December 6). Nelson (Photo#1, Photo#2), 32, is a virtual unknown, having fronted several local bands in the Long Island/New York area, including DEVILSIZE and ME, MY ENEMY. Drummer Charlie Benante says, "Rob [Caggiano, ANTHRAX lead guitarist] called me and said, 'I have a singer, you should check him out.' We gave him a shot, and he floored us."

Scott Ian is the only one in Anthrax that has any talent - other then that, the rest of them aren't much different when you hand an instrument to a little kid...
