You know, I listen to a LOT of classic rock, but I don't mind the Killers.

As for my favorite album, it would have to be Sam's Town. I think "Bones" is pure genius. I heard some of Sawdust and I really don't think it's as good, but maybe I'll have to do some more listening.

Happy listening! =)

You're getting some really weird answers to this question, haha.

But yeah, I think the Killers are a good band. Sawdust is a decent b-sides compilation. There are some good and some bad, just like on basically any album. I felt like there was some unnecessary stuff on it (Shadowplay, acoustic version of Sam's Town, Glamourous Indie R&R) but there's a lot of great songs too (All The Pretty Faces, Leave Your Bourbon..., Under The Gun, Romeo and Juliet, to name a few). I was underwhelmed by "Tranquilize". I love the Killers and Lou Reed, but I felt it didn't really go anywhere.

That said, it's worth a buy.

I listen to them frequently and I really like Sawdust, and it was probably more enjoyable than it could have been because I've been waiting for Leave the bourbon on the shelf and now finally having it is great.

It's about as solid as their two albums, though it kind of loses steam near the end, still, good album and worth owning.

I love The Killers, but I'm still not sure if I like Sawdust or not. It has a lot of songs on it that I like, but I have the limited edition of Hot Fuss, so some I already had a few of the songs that are on it. I do really like their cover of Romeo and Juliet, as well as Shadowplay and Tranquilize. There are enough good songs on it for me to be pleased with it though.

I think that this is a very good album, and even if I hadn't been a killers fan, i still probably would have bought it. But, i think they should get back to their more early genre, i almost feel they're trying too hard for a hit. But that's only on some of the songs the rest are amazing, especially that live Sam's town, romeo and Juliet, show you how and glamorous indie rock n' roll, I'm actually listening to that now :) Did you hear their new holiday single "don't shoot me Santa" it's AWESOME!!!!!!!

My mom is obsessed with that band! She absolutely loves them, but I don't think she has ever heard of the album Sawdust... I think they are OK. They have some pretty good songs.
