The KMD SG-series of amps are basic solid state amps with a three channel EQ and master volume. These are not to be confused with the KMD amps from the 80s, some of which had tubes and were fairly well regarded.
The amp you mention is 60 watts, 12" speaker, all solid state (no tubes). The Peavey Bandit 112 has a similar configuration, but in my opinion is a much better amp. Other inexpensive solid state amps that I could recommend have digital effects built in, so are not similar to a KMD.

Tough one, as KMD/Kaman has been in the history books for awhile now, Another of those Fender buy outs and discontinue them deals, Did it to Tacoma guitars also, As to a high gain 1x12 tube combo? I'd say something like the Mesa Boogie Express 5/50 should get the job done, Little more up to date with a lot more features and not exactly cheap but a nice little high gain 1x12 in any case, If on a budget then the Bugera V55 Infinium will do. Not as high gain but that's why there's distortion peddles,

Something bo-teeky in a 50-75 watt tube/valve amp? Easily matched by any of another hundred amps still in production. Maybe an Orange? If you got the coin, check out a Blackstar.
