Kid Rock and that song Singing sweet home Alabama terrible song?

I leave the radio on downstairs for my birds to listen to and keep it on a jackfm station because they seem to like rock music. I do not really care for most of the songs. There is a horrible song that comes on by Kid Rock that rips off two songs Sweet Home Alabama and the were wolves of london. Why do people listen or request this garbage. If they play this song too many more times, I will have to let the birds listen to another station. It may be the worst song I have ever heard. Any thoughts?
