Question:
R&P.. *SCENARIO QUESTION* If you could interview your favorite musician...?
indian dotter

-> Who would that musician be,
-> what questions would you ask (you can go as personal as you want, depending on how bold you are and thinking about whether or not you will faint at their presence),
-> and where would you interview him/her? (Let's get creative here...)

BQ: Would you videotape it?
BBQ(yum): If you have an iPod, what color is it?
(mine is white, i plan to draw on it someday)

Enjoy! Hopefully that interview will come true..

--> Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth

--> "Are you completely satisfied with the music you've created over the years or do you feel that it's lacking in some way?"

"You've stated that you don't listen to much Metal, does the metal scene today annoy you?

Is their some kind of pressure to keep making this kind of music or are you not afraid to completely abandon metal music one day?"

"Do you plan to retire at a certain age or do you see yourself doing this for as long as possible?"

--> We will be horseback riding through the meadows while I somehow try to videotape the whole thing.

BBA: Silver, old and in need of a new one, cause the battery dies too quickly now.

I would probably interview Cat Power, because she's my favorite 'mysterious' musician. Little is known about her early life, relationships, influences, meanings of her songs, and there is a rumor that she has mild schizophrenia.

I would ask her:

- Who are your main influences?

- How did your childhood affect your music career, if at all?

- How did you learn guitar?

- How do you come up for the concepts for your songs?

- What was your childhood like?

- How did you make the choice to run away to New York?

- Do you still keep in contact with your family?

- Do you have any siblings?

- How did your father's mental illness affect you as a person and as a musician?

- How did drugs and alcohol affect your songwriting?

- What is the song "Enough" about? Why are there two versions with different lyrics?

I would probably interview her at the beach, because I am always braver when I'm near a body of water, and I really would want answers from her.

BQ: Yeah, I would videotape her, not necessarily myself.

BBQ: Mine is yellow! I used to have a white one and I put stickers of cats all over it. :P

Definetly Till Lindemann.

Questions: (I wouldn't get very personal with the questions because I'm a big believer in minding your own buisness)

Did you do any singing or performing as a child?

Have your daughters ever been the inspiration behind a song?

Do you feel that Rammstein will have an impact on future Neute Deutsche Härte?

You've said in previous interviews that you would like to retire at 50, do you still feel that way? If so, what are your plans after retirement? Will you pursue a solo career?

I would interview Till...in his bedroom :D

After that, the interview would just be causal conversation because I'd love to just have a normal conversation with him.

BQ: Only if he would allow me to.

BBQ: Not an IPod but I do have an MP3 player and its red.

1. Elvis Costello (because Warren Zevon has passed away.)

2. (I'd have more, but this is a good start.)

a) What is the best story you've ever read, and why?

b) What is one thing you try NOT to write about, and why?

c) Where do you see music going in the next ten years? What about the next fifty years?

d) If YOU could interview one musician, who would it be?

3. In a smoky pub somewhere with some good blues playing. That'd be the right vibe, I think.

BQ: Absolutely.

BBQ: My cell phone doubles as my MP3 player (Samsung Convoy, to replace the recently died Samsung Juke.) It's gunmetal gray. My Juke was navy blue.

Hey,

Mine is Jonny Greenwood

I would ask him, how does manage to be so awesome and good at experimenting with his music, playin with so many instruments and all. I would also ask how does Radiohead handle all their ego clashes because Thom yorke seems to hog all the limelight

I would interview him at his home, because i heard if keeps chickens at his home, and i want to see what the hell is up with that.

I don't have an ipod at the present, i plan to get one very soon, most probably silver.

Hell yeah i would tape him!

@puddlez - WOW, i was just thinking about her and listening to her songs when answered this question! I would have asked her all those questions too!!

Julian Casablancas

I would most likely faint in his presence lol... considering that i don't faint, i would ask about the process of working on albums with The Strokes. i would probably also ramble on about random stuff that i have always wanted to say to him (and most likely embarrass myself:)

I would interview him anywhere as long as we were kind of secluded so i could actually hear him and not have screaming fans everywhere

BQ: i would definitely video tape it

BBQ: mine is a dark purple

p.s. i like your plan to draw on your ipod

Hey Indian Dotter

Bob Dylan of course. I would ask him what really happened when he had his motorcycle accident, he has never fully revealed what caused it to happen or what injuries he sustained in the accident. I would also ask him, what he meant by the "The sun's not yellow it's chicken" a line out of the song "Tombstone Blues" I have never fully understood what he meant by that.

Other questions I would ask

What do you think of your son Jacob Dylan's music?

Do you still have the guitar you used to record "Blowin' In The Wind?

Why didn't you get on with your father?

What do think are the best lyrics you have ever written?

Why didn't you like being called the spokesman of a generation?

BQ:Hell Yes

BBQ:silver & black

Well lets say I had a time machine.

-> John Lennon

-> I would mostly ask him about his personal thoughts. How he felt during certain times of his life. What he wishes for the world. I would want to know every aspect of his mind. He is one of the people that was deeply misunderstood. His way of thinking was so unique and he just... I dont know, he just was very intruiging to me. I wish I could of known his mind.

-> I would want to interview him in an isolated forest of some kind. A place where it would be just me, him and nature.

BQ: YES, I would.

BBQ: Black.

Thank you for this wonerful question. =]

King Diamond

I'd ask him what his favorite Mercyful Fate and King Diamond album is, ask when he stopped believing in religion, and ask whether he preferred to be in his solo career or in Mercyful Fate.

I'd like to interview him somewhere in his house, maybe somewhere in like a room that he doesn't let anyone in, like it's a room that only he goes to.

BQ: Maybe, depends on if he'd want it taped or not. I'd rather ask him >_>

BQ2: It's silver

i'd interview him at his house so i'd know where he lives!

yes, i'd videotape it.

my ipod is black, but it has a stripy multi-coloured case on it.

--> If dead or alive: Kurt Cobain. If alive: Les Claypool.

--> I would ask about what their songwriting process is and how they find influence and so forth.

..> ******* Finland, man.

BQ: Yes.

BBQ(yum): I have an iPod Touch 4G, so it's black. I had a gray nano.

I'd like to interview Axle Rose.

Ask him about his reflections on Appetite for Destruction. Ask him about his opinion of cultural differences between America and China. Ask about his ideas of the current music industry and thoughts on the future.

I'll interview him at his own private vacation spot. Then hang for a while.

Videotape the interview if he allows.

No ipod, just a small, cheap black thing that holds 4G of music.

-> "What's it like being so awesome at guitar?", "What's your favourite album ever?", "What's your favourite album you've been a part of?"

-> A sauna in south Italy

BQ: No. Too hot and sticky. Might tape record it though.

BBQ: Yes I do. It's silver. I never use it.

-What are your music tastes now compared to 20 years ago?

-When will the next album be released/will it be as good and heavy as Death Magnetic?

-In the secret vault where he keeps Napster and all his money, inside the magically enhanced snare drum of doom and crappy sound(the one that he only used on St.Anger).

BQ:Yes.
