3.Iron Maiden
Maybe one of the most epic Metal bands ever,their lyrics,Bruce and Steve...No words!

4.Black Sabbath
Pioneers of Heavy Metal,first ones who used dark and aggressive music,main influence to Heavy Metal!

5.Judas Priest:
C'mon,they are METAL GODS!

6.Led Zeppelin
No description.

7.Megadeth
Obviously one of the best Thrash Metal bands EVER!Their lyrics,riffs,solos...Everything is just AMAZING but Dave's vocals.

8.Motörhead
If Motörhead wouldn't existed,Thrash Metal wouldn't exist!They were first ones who used dirty vocals,raw and loud guitars,heavy bass,loud drums,I mean LOUD music,they were greatest influence to ALL Thrash Metal bands!

9.Anthrax
Way underrated band!I mean,they should get more respect then Slayer,they have really pumping songs,and they are always old-school and raw.They did not become a slave of MTV like other Thrash Metal bands,Anthrax obviously deserves this rank!

10.Exodus
I think they should make The Big Four,The Big Five and add Exodus to the list.First of all,they are lyrical geniuses,just listen to A Good Day to Die,you will obviously see!

1. Pantera

Dime is my hero. I just love of everything about them, the vocal style, the solos, the riffs, the sheer aggression. No one does it better in my opinion.

2. Slayer

So heavy, I love the riffs and vocal style of Slayer almost as much as Pantera. The solos can be questionable at times though, ha.

3. Death

My favorite death metal band. The songs are very technical and progressive styled, and Chuck Schuldiner pretty much created death metal.

4. Iron Maiden

Kind of self explanatory. They are just amazing, and classic.

5. Opeth

Kickass vocals, long complex songs, I can't explain exactly why I love Opeth so much.

6. Carcass

I love the melodic songs especially, demonic sounding vocals, great guitarists.

7. Suicidal Tendencies

The Lights... Camera... Revolution is especially amazing. Very cool guitars and vocals.

8. Black Sabbath

Self explanatory, again, just classic. Especially Ozzy-era.

9. Cannibal Corpse

When I'm mad, the sheer heaviness makes me calm down, and then the technical riffs are always cool to listen to other times.

10. Megadeth

Awesome solos of course, just Dave's voice is annoying

11. Strapping Young Lad

Honary Mention. Devin Townsend. He is badass.

1. Pantera

Undoubtably the best metal band who ever went on stage. They use more technique than almost any other band I've seen. Also, they didn't over come to any trend and wasn't taken over by any labels. Those guys were pure to the core metal. R.I.P. Dimebag



2. Korn

These guys are awsome. They have great music, a great style, and they say f*** off to everything and anything they don't like.



3. Megadeth

No words can describe these guys live and their musical ability.



4. Slayer

Brutal and pure evil. These guys use hate to their advantage and write some good songs.



5. Iron Maiden

Again, this band speaks for themselves. Thank you very much.



6. White Zombie

Great lyrics, great music, great stage energy.



7. Godsmack

One of the best bands I've ever seen live. I got so hyped, I started loosing complete control, until the next band came up. These guys can get a crowd going.



8. Judas Priest

Awsome, awsome, awsome!!!!!!



9. Anthrax

Pure, raw thrash metal. Nuff said.



10. Mezarkabul (Pentagram in Turkish)

They got some real catchy music in their arsinal. They do a good job.

their songs all sound very dark, their lyrics are not about the things that have become cliche, and they don't ALWAYS use a 3/4 or 4/4 time signature

2. Dream Theater

once again, a dark sounding band who aren't afraid to make a song that conveys a very different feeling than the traditional/popular bands.

3. Before the Dawn

the only death metal band I have found that haven't screwed up half of their songs with repetition, lyrics, or just plain stupid guitar riffs.

4. In Flames

the only band I have heard so far to incorperate electronica with their songs (and the two songs that they did incorperate electronica with are their only good songs). If you are curious, the songs are called The Quiet Place and My Sweet Shadow
