to me It sorta sounds a bit like punk reggae or something. does it sound like reggae at all to you?

it's Ska. Rock with a little mix of reggae.

Ok as musicisn who can play both reggae and ska...it is ska...not reggae

Ok ska you use the snare and base drum on the two and four...ok reggae you use what they call a one drop...which you play the bass and snare on three...hince by your second round you drop the one from the beat....but in reggae there is what call a stepers and a rockers...you can fuse the rockers with rock music it is based of the same pattern...but most people use ska like sublime did...
