I want to make a CD for my dad's birthday. I think he'd be pretty unhappy if I got him a thrash metal CD ;P
He likes bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush, Head East, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Scorpions, the Beatles, Kansas, Elvis, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, etc. But he hates hair metal, just so you know.
Just give me a list of good songs similar to that stuff. Thanks!

I love the Steve Miller Band.

They're not super hard, though.

Some of the good songs are: "Fly Like an Eagle" "The Joker" "Rockin' Me" etc. They have a greatest hits albums that's cool.
