R&P: So, I've been overdosing on E3 for the past two days....?

Question

For those of you unaware, E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo.
To put it in simple terms, it is the Superbowl for gamers that lasts three days.
Anyone else been doing this?

MQ: Favorite song you found from a video game?
MQ: Are you a gamer?

BQ: Now Playing?
BQ: Which game announced at E3 are you most looking forward to?
BQ: Anime; yay or nay?

Yeah, I've been watching a lot on G4 and looking up new trailers from E3, etc.



MQ: Do you mean a non-game song from a game, or does BGM from a game count?



MQ: My main two pass times and things I'm interested in are Music (a given due to being a regular of this section) and video games



BQ: I'm not sure what games were or were not announced at E3, but the 3 games I'm anticipating the most are Resistance 3, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Soul Calibur V

Yea, I watched Sony and Nintendo's conference live, I would have watched Micorsoft's, but I don't have a 360 or PC right now. As far as what everyone was showing off, I think Nintendo blew it out of the water, I'm a fan of Sony products, but the Sony conference was just so boring! I just couldn't get excited about the PS Vita, Idk, it seems like Sony is trying too hard to compete with Nintendo with the whole innovation approach, and I just rather stick to Nintendo when it comes to sort of thing.



Nintendo just made me feel like a kid again and I was pretty surprised when they said the system would get third party games like Arkham City and Assassin's Creed, but I'm starting to wonder if I should wait or get them on the PS3 earlier as the Wii U will probably have a little bit better graphics and more unique, if not better controls. I'm really glad to see Nintendo craw out of the hole as far third party support, and the 3DS is starting to look really good too. Really the Wii U works kind of like a DS, you use two screens to play the game (Your TV and the controller pad screen) but the pad controller can double as a portable and looks to be able to do a lot more than just games, so I'm pretty excited, probably the most excited I've been for a Nintendo console since the N64.

BQ- None at the moment

BQ2- Probably Super Mario 3DS or Uncharted 3 and I'm pretty excited about Luigi's Mansion 2 since I've been waiting since the Gamecube days for that one.

MQ- I like pen and paper RPGs, but not real big on video games, though I dabble on occasion. I do want to play Dragon Age 2.

BQ- Ummm.. which ever one is coolest? Is there a new Star Wars one coming out?

BQ- Yay, with caveats. I only tend to like Mecha Anime overall, and usually stuff more like Macross and the American version, Robotech more than Gundam. Votoms is a favorite. Cyberpunk stuff like Ghost in the Shell is OK too.

I only found out E3 was happening because of my Machinima app. I haven't been paying as much attention as I used to, but I'll probably catch up on some of it.
