Just curious if they ever met back in the 60's. I also have seen photos of Brian Jones and Jimi Hendrix and Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin together, what year did they meet and what place exactly?

Just searched the book "No-One Here Gets Out Alive" on Amazon. Page 171:

'At a party at John Davidson's house Jim and Janis Joplin got drunk together. Paul Rothchild remembers them with their arms draped over each other's shoulders: "Mr. and Mrs. Rock 'n' roll." But then Jim turned mean and grabbed Janis by the hair, pulling her head into his crotch and holding it there. Finally she broke free, fleeing to the bathroom in tears. Jim was wrestled into a car. Janis came running after him. She reached inside the car and began hitting Jim on the head with a bottle of Southern Comfort. Jim was laughing as they pulled away.

'In New York, at the Scene, Jim stumbled and emptied a table of drinks in Janis's lap, then, moved by the music, lurched to the stage where he fell on his knees, gripping Jimi Hendrix's legs in a fervent, sodden embrace.'
