Coldplay are great but they SHOULD NOT have won that rock grammy!?

I agree coldplay are great, but you can hardly class them as rock.
I think Metallica should have got the award because their music is so technical and skilled,
ALSO
did you notice, Metallica's song - The day that never comes,
is around 8 minutes, you notice how no radio show or tv channel cut the song length?
because they loved it,

I agree totally. Coldplay is an extremely talented band, but they do not play rock n roll. I actually find their music quite boring. Metallica should have won. Well, at least they got top metal song for "My Apocalypse."

And i would like to say Coldplay are a brilliant band - they are very skilled at composing music and their songs are full of depth and meaning. Yet at the same time, I like Metallica too.



And i think half the people saying crap about them on here are just narrow-minded, and immediately hate any band which they don't think is rock.



If you don't like a band. fair enough, but that doesn't make them crap and boring.

I'm pretty sure Hetfield and co wont be giving a toss about missing out on a grammy-they'll be too busy counting their money and having group therapy. Lets face it-the grammys are a complete and utter joke.Just like every other awards show.The baubles and trinkets are pointless.
